Government Relaions in China
Manufacturing in China
Trade in China

China is the location for custom manufacturing for international business.  Arranging this manufcaturing for an individual business is a daunting task with many risks associated.  InCHINA can establish those relaitonships, locate the necessary facilities and get to the prototype and manufacturing stages in less time with less invested capital than would be possible without our support.

We then provide ongoing quality control and supervision to ensure quotas are met and product integrity is maintained.  We are permanently in China to provide this service, fully capable in english and mandarin.

Simply put, the Chinese do business with "old friends".  As a senior Chinese government official expressed some years ago, the western approach is to identify a business opportunity and then develop relationships that are supported by a legal framework and contractual obligations.  The Chinese approach is to develop friendships first and then work together to identify business opportunities.  In this context, the fundamental difference is that all business activities are based on trust and mutual obligations of "old friends."  While a legal framework may exist, the need to resort to its use is an indication of breakdown in the business relationship and signifies a lack of understanding of the Chinese way of doing business.

Another key to working successfully in China is an understanding of the significance of government in all aspects of business in China.  This, together with the fact that China's system of government is unitary, is crucial.  One cannot carry out business activities in China at the provincial, or municipal levels of government without paying attention to higher levels of government.  To do so risks policy and legal changes occuring at the central level of government which can quite inadvertently create havoc with a business operating in another level of government's jurisdiction.

Through established networks and with the assistance of our associates in China we can help establish, through the correct relationships, purchasing and selling opportunities for clients we represent.  The Chinese government seeks to increase imports to China to decrease its trade surplus.  Its goal is $10 Trillion USD of import volume within five years.  On a consumer level, the demand for quality and luxury goods by the emerging Chinese middle class is growing continually.

China remains the world's largest exporter of goods.  For any industry we can purchase inputs, whether for wholesale or retail, and essentially work as a buyer for our clients to give them unique offerings for their businesses.  We attend the export fairs regularly and have immediate access to the sellers and manufacturers.
